The Beatrice City Council passed a resolution at its Monday meeting pledging its support of the livestock industry in Nebraska.
The resolution was prompted by Council member Calvin Carey regarding concerns of the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and its intentions to alter agriculture production in the future.
