The Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce has thrown its support behind a coalition of five agricultural organizations opposed to expected legislative maneuvering by the Humane Society targeted at the agriculture industry.
Todd Wiltgen, who was hired by the coalition, and Pete McClymont, vice president of legislative affairs for the Nebraska Cattlemen’s Association, were in Fremont on June 7 to seek support from the Chamber.
